October 30, 2006-Today NEC System Technologies, Ltd. released its "CSR Report 2006" summarizing its corporate social responsibility (CSR) activities for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2006 (April 1, 2005 to March 31, 2006).
The CSR Report issued today addresses two themes: "coexisting with society" and "protection of the global environment." NEC System Technologies, Ltd. states, " these two themes describe the image of the company we strive to be: a company in which employees can work comfortably and are considerate of others; and a company that takes responsibility for making contributions toward the betterment of society."
NEC System Technologies started its environmental management efforts in 2002 in order to further promote one of its management visions, "A company with high ethics that contributes to society." NEC System Technologies states it will, "continue to enhance our efforts toward CSR activities that respond to the social responsibilities required of a company like ours."
