NEC System Technologies and AXE to Collaborate
in the LINUX-Based Embedded Software Solution Business |
January 25, 2005-NEC System Technologies, Ltd. announced today that the company will work collaboratively with AXE, Inc., which owns leading technologies involving Linux kernels in embedded fields. The two companies will promote the co-development of Linux technology, the importance and variety of which can be seen around the world, while driving the use of embedded software in various devices so that the companies can expand their embedded software business.
Toward this recent collaboration, NEC System Technologies acquired a portion of AXE's shares last December. This new relationship will further strengthen the NEC System Technologies and AXE collaboration, and it is conducted to assure positive business results.
