NEC System Technologies announces reseller agreement with MontaVista

November 16, 2004-NEC System Technologies, Ltd. announced today that it will offer MontaVista Linux and embedded software solutions based on the MontaVista's Linux distribution. The solutions include detailed customization and optimization of MontaVista Linux software for customized embedded devices, the development of middleware and, support. The company signed a reseller agreement with MontaVista Software Inc., which holds a large share in the embedded Linux market. NEC System Technologies's embedded software solutions will enable vendors of embedded devices, including digital home appliances, measuring equipments, and office automation equipments, to reduce the time and cost when developing their embedded products. Our solutions allow vendors to focus on developing functional applications themselves, allowing them to bring better product to market faster.
