NEC System Technologies Introduces New Server Solution for Enterprises to Accelerate the Realization of a Rich Client Environment: "iBizBlock for Flex" |
October 6, 2004-NEC System Technologies, Ltd. announced "iBizBlock for Flex," a business component product which enables the easy development and operation of Rich Internet Applications (RIA), the next generation web application. Based on Macromedia Inc.'s Macromedia Flex, NEC System Technologies is the first to introduce a product of this kind. Additionally, NEC System Technologies will collaborate with NEC Corporation in the sale of "iBizBlock for Flex" starting in November 2004. The product will be positioned as a part of "Active Glove System Director," NEC's system development environment for e-Business.
Macromedia Flex enables the development of Flash applications in an application development environment for enterprises making highly productive developments possible. Based on the utilization of standard JAVA framework, iBizBlock Flex is a solution suitable for enterprises based on compatibility and manageability with existing applications. "iBizBlock for Flex" is an enhanced version of "iBizBlock" a popular software environment announced by NEC System Technologies in April 2004. Compatible with Macromedia Flex, NEC System Technologies offers three versions: screen user interface (UI)-related, form UI-related and a configuration engine for BTO-related, all at very reasonable prices which include the run time license. For the screen UI version, NEC System Technologies has consolidated the functions of basic key operation and graph/chart presentation so that users can implement rich client more easily.
