NEC System Technologies to Enhance IT Management Service Offerings

September 28, 2004-NEC System Technologies, Ltd. and VERITAS Software Corporation announced today that they have signed a reseller agreement for selling VERITAS Software products.
Based on this agreement, NEC System Technologies will utilize "VERITAS i3" which enables the efficient operation of a Web system, in order to enhance its IT management service offerings. Simultaneously, NEC System Technologies will add "JAVA Operation Status Analysis Service" and "SAP Operation Status Analysis Service" to its service menu.
In a Web-based business system, deterioration in response causes impacts business opportunities. Identifying the root cause is difficult and requires specialize skill, time and money due to multi-layered and multi-vendor configurations.
