NEC System Technologies to Offer IT Management Service |
December 2, 2003-NEC System Technologies, Ltd. said today that it will begin offering from January 2004 IT management service that allows slashing of TCO (Total Cost of Ownership) of system operation by supporting users' system administration divisions and providing IT platform management and consulting.
This service will consist of web system response analysis and diagnostic services. This service monitors website traffic, conducts time-based web checks, and provides analysis and diagnostic reports. The service also includes web system operation status analysis and diagnostics. This service monitors website operation, conducts periodical checks, and provides analysis and diagnostic reports.
In connection with the new service offerings, NEC System Technologies will increase its technology cooperation with Mercury Interactive Japan K.K. and Veritas Software Corporation and will launch an in-house IT management service center to train engineers in this core technology. In addition, NEC System Technologies will add to its IT management services other related services such as technology trends, market needs and product development status reporting.

The company is scheduled to begin a series of development support and system operation management and monitoring services in February 2004. These support maintenance services will help to strengthen our customer's IT environment. Services include: Network System Operation Support, Storage System Support, System Backup Support and Security Operation Support. |
