NEC Companies Offer Consulting Service to Tackle Information Leaks |
December 1, 2003-NEC Corp., NEC Soft Ltd., and NEC System Technologies have jointly announced the launching of new consulting services targeted toward information security leaks. The services will include electronic document security, customer information management and measures against unauthorized access. The NEC companies will jointly coordinate the use of four security technology centers in Japan and provide consistent services throughout Japan.
NEC security experts within the NEC companies will provide a variety of services ranging from preventive measures for protecting corporate information assets to actions following the occurrence of an event. Each solution will be customized to meet the needs of each engagement.
NEC will also specialize in preventive security measures including the formation of security policies and procedures, assistance in employee training and developing and deploying solutions to prevent insider security leaks. NEC will also provide corrective action services such as access to log analysis and tracking employees who are suspect in information security breaches.
