Nine NEC Software Group Companies to Offer Common and Standardized ASP Platform Construction SI Services to iDCs |
November 27, 2003-Nine NEC Software Group companies*, including NEC Soft, Ltd., said today that they will standardize ASP platform construction solution "IDCPL@TS" and begin offering system construction services nationwide from December.
The services offered in "IDCPL@TS" consist mainly of platform construction solutions such as fee collection, authentication and single sign-on (SSO), and also include solution menus to complement ASP services such as access control, contents management and contact management. The services enable iDCs and ASPs to select solutions and services they need and construct ASP platform that suit their operations.
The nine companies will organize and standardize their products and application development services to offer common services nationwide. This will enable them to expand their solution menu lineup to meet diversifying customer needs and to slash time and costs of system construction. Additionally, the companies will work closely with "Partner iDC Service (PiDC)", a comprehensive iDC platform construction/operation solution offered by NEC Corporation, from July and expand sales.
