NEC System Technologies to be Listed on the First Section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange |
September 12, 2003-NEC System Technologies, Ltd. (Head Office: Chuo-ku, Osaka; President: Toshihiko Takahashi) is pleased to announce that the company shares have been today listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
NEC System Technologies, Ltd. was established on October 1, 2001, by consolidating NEC Software Kobe, NEC Software Okayama, NEC Software Chugoku and NEC Software Shikoku, Ltd. with NEC Software Kansai Ltd., the surviving company. Since the merger, we have expanded and enhanced our business by integrating technology and know-how for IT platform development and solution construction that each of the five companies accumulated over the years. At the same time, we set the goal of listing our shares as soon as possible and worked on enhancing our business foundation. As a result, our application was approved by the Tokyo Stock Exchange to be listed in the stock market's first section.
Taking this opportunity, all members of NEC System Technologies, including the executives, have reaffirmed our determination to strive for the advancement of our business, to fulfill our social responsibility as a listed corporation, and to respond to our customers' expectations.
