NEC System Technologies Releases .NET versions
of OpenMeisterEnterprise and eBizSolution |
Osaka, Japan -May 12, 2003-NEC System Technologies announced today that it has commercialized "OpenMeisterEnterprise .NET", a business framework for achieving cost efficient software development, and "eBizSolution for .NET", a business system construction solution, to promote solutions business supporting ".NET Framework". The company started marketing the products today.
The release of the two new products is based on the company's cooperation with Microsoft Corp.
(Head office: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Shinichi Ata) on .NET compatible solutions announced in November 2002.
By using the two products and relevant consulting services, users will be able to construct systems to keep up with the speed of business and quickly recoup their investments in systems. Also, the two new products allow easy expansion and scalability of business systems under multiplatform environments.

Microsoft welcomes the latest announcement by NECST to start offering "OpenMeisterEnterprise .NET" and "eBizSolution for .NET". In October 2001, Microsoft and NEC System Technologies and other NEC Group companies announced cooperation to expand SI business using Windows server platform. Objectives agreed at that time -- "development of templates to enable system implementation efficiently" and "joint development of linkage solutions for NEC middleware and Microsoft products" -- are realized with "OpenMeisterEnterprise .NET" business framework and "eBizSolution for .NET" e-business system construction solution supporting ".NET Framework". Microsoft will closely work with NECST and other NEC Group companies and continue to offer valuable solutions to user companies.
